Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to all students enrolled in Linguiscoā€™s programs. By enrolling in any of our products/services, you agree to abide by the terms listed below.

Linguisco offers two types of French language learning programs:

Self-Paced French Course
French in 12 Months Program (with Conditional Money-Back Guarantee)

2. Self-Paced Course

This course is a one-time purchase with no refunds or money-back guarantee under any circumstance.
Access to the course is non-transferable.
Linguisco reserves the right to make changes to course content and availability at any time.

3. French in 12 Months Program ā€“ Conditional Money-Back Guarantee

This program offers a conditional refund policy, subject to strict compliance with all terms below. To be eligible for a refund, students must meet every condition:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Attendance: Cannot miss more than 10 live classes over the 12-month period.
  • Test Performance:
    Must score 80% or higher on the internal assessments.
    Must score 70% or higher on the official Mock Test.
  • Homework: All assigned homework must be completed and submitted on time.
  • Consistency: Student must attend classes regularly throughout the 12-month program without breaks or stoppage.
  • TEF Exam Timing:
    The student must not take the TEF exam before completing the full 12-month program.
    The TEF exam must be taken within 2 weeks after completing the program. Linguisco will coordinate booking in advance.
  • Behavior and Conduct: No instances of cheating, abuse, harassment, bullying, swearing, vandalism, or toxic behavior will be tolerated. Violation results in disqualification from the refund policy and potential expulsion.
  • Payment Compliance: All payments must be made on time. Any missed payment voids the refund eligibility.
  • Camera-On Policy: Cameras must be turned on during all live classes.
  • Refund Request:
    Must be sent via email within 14 days of getting your TEF results.
    The request must include the official TEF results.
    Only TEF results are accepted for refund purposes.

Additional Policies:

  • Refund Processing: Refunds (if eligible) will be processed within 60 days of receiving a valid request.
  • Class Pauses/Catch-Ups: Linguisco is not responsible for missed classes, personal scheduling issues, or catch-up support.
  • Teacher Substitution: Linguisco reserves the right to assign substitute teachers or change instructors as needed.
  • Cancellation: Students must give 15 daysā€™ notice via email before cancelling the next monthly payment cycle. No refunds are provided otherwise.

4. General Policies (Applies to All Programs)

  • Zero Refund Policy: If any of the listed terms are violated or conditions unmet, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
  • Code of Conduct: Respectful, professional behavior is required at all times. Linguisco reserves the right to terminate access for misconduct.
